Pros and cons of Fiddle Companion app for iPhone and iPad

Fiddle Companion app good for

This app has everything it promises. Its great for learning the basics, and also for writing songs.
Easy to use, full of information, and right at your fingertips.

Some bad moments

I bought the "No ads" and "All tunings" add-ons to Fiddle Companion Sept. 2015, got my Apple receipt, but they werent installed. 3 emails to the developer Infinaut support group went completely unanswered. I had to get a refund from Apple after 3 weeks.
This is the start of something good. A free app I can use to feel out chord formations, and learn scales. Hoping they add on this, a great start!
Im not a fiddler, but this app is still fun to play with. I love the sound.
The sound was surprisingly decent, but the ads drive me crazy. I suppose paying would get rid of them. Fun, none the less.
Its not that good you cant do much with it I am a violin player and it does not help me
What are u suppose to use it for? I use it for tuning but I play the viola so I can only use the g d and a
